Want to be a 3/50 Project rock star?

3-50-project-logo_500px2I knew people would like The 3/50 Project, but holy cow….you guys are spreading the word even faster than I thought. Verrrry cool, folks.

As a thank you, I have a couple of treats in the pipeline, just for you.

In the next week or so, I’ll be offering a special (free) member icon to stores and businesses supporting The 3/50 Project for use on their websites. If you downloaded the flyer (aka: bag stuffer) before the current registration page was up, do me a favor and return to the site, then click on the free flyer link on the home page. You’ll be able to register there, giving you access to the member logo, a free listing on The350Project.org website when the full version is completed, and will receive updates for anything that pops along the way.

If you’ve already filled in the registration form, you’re set. When the member icon is ready, you’ll get the word.

The other thing that’s cooking is an opportunity for you to share in a little of limelight surrounding the Project. (Yup. Saw you perk up on that one.)

I’m going to post a feature piece about the individual who gets the most 3/50 Project businesses to sign on through our swanky (albeit the temp version) website, The350Project.org. The contest begins tomorrow, so start lining up your phone numbers. When your peeps go to the site to download the free pdf flyer, there will be a new “How did you hear about us?” field on the registration form where they can fill in your name.

Whoever has the most referrals by April 15th will be interviewed for a feature piece on the blog, to run on a Friday (buying you a little extra weekend time). Given the size of the blog’s audience, that’s a pretty nice sized spotlight.

The race to glory begins tomorrow.

It ends at midnight on April 15th (best thing you’ve heard on tax day in a while, huh?)

On your marks…get set…go, baby, GO!

Cinda,

Cannot thank you enough…our gift shops group in Fredonia are passing these out next week. After our Easter Events, we will present to the other businesses on Main Street Fredonia. This project present the message in a positive way, and we love it.

Again, thank you.

Cinda,

Brilliant idea, great website, and impressive background. I would like to know what I could do to contribute to the Project’s success. Good luck and best wishes,

Thanks

Im thrilled about this project! These past six months have been challenging. As a retailer Im constantly forced to think of new and creative ideas to try to persuade my locals to buy from us, instead of the big box stores. It has been difficult to compete with constant 50-80% off sales all around me. The mentality of the consumer has changed. I focus so much time, energy, and money on getting the consumer in front of me that there is little left over for creativity in the store, and for my professional trade of interior design. We need to shift the mentality back to the community, and get people to support the local chain of command that filters the most money to our local residents, and families.
