The 3/50 Project in the Chicago Tribune

in Media, The 3/50 Project

chicago_tribYet another terrific article under the banner of a major newspaper-—thanks to both the Chicago Tribune and those amazing folks in Hinsdale, Illinois who have been knocking the ball out of the park since early on. Their Chamber of Commerce was among the first to officially endorse The 3/50 Project; as a result, Hinsdale businesses have come together to build a stronger, more active consumer environment.

FYI: The numbers being quoted in the piece are out of date by a few weeks. Here are the stats, as of midnight, July 1, 2009:

7,100+ Supporters registered on The 3/50 Project website
11,100+ Fans on The 3/50 Project Facebook page (includes consumers!)
93,600+ Absolute Unique Visitors on the350project.net site

(Absolute Unique Visitors means each computer only counts once; we’re up to 116,000+ Total VIsitors, if you include repeat visits.)

Yet again, I bow in awe to all you enthusiastic souls who bring life to what we do. You’re tops in my book. Tops.

Congrats!!!! The 3/50 project is the best thing around. I tweet about it weekly and info in my windows. I so enjoy to watch people stop and read. You know they go away thinking WOW, I can help.
Thanks Cinda

The 3/50 project is such a simple prescription for local business success. Why can’t we just accept it and stop looking for a complicated solution that doesn’t work?

Cinda,
I am so proud of you! I am so proud of all of us. Nothing inspires me more than others who are inspired. Just like when I watch my son play his violin, I get a tear in my eye. I do the same when hearing about The 3/50 project and it’s growth…

Gina, I hear ya. Now that we’re at our first anniversary, there’s a lump in my throat too….a happy one, given how many businesses continue to report positive experiences thanks to the Project. Just proves that together, we really can have an impact, in a glorious way!

Thanks for all YOU do, Gina—one of our more passionate supporters!
