Homebound

Assuming Mother Nature doesn’t expedite her next tirade on the east coast, I’ll be headed home in a few hours. Wanted to stay an additonal day, but the combination of hotel, airfare rebooking fee, and the ice and snow storm headed this way convinced me the original plan was best.

I’m anxious to get back on the blog with an upcoming post about green papers, based on wisdom shared by the woman I consider an expert in the field-—Joan Schnee, owner of Green Paper Company. There’s so much information out there, with so many different terms and labels attached, that one almost needs a road map to figure things out. Joan’s done just that, making it easy to sort the good from the so-so, and the so-so from the uh-uh.

I’ll also be posting more photos from the Gift for Life party on Sunday, as soon as the official photog’s shots are up. People were still buzzing about the bash late yesterday afternoon.

Now, off to find the car service who should be waiting outside the Javitz (the same one I tipped RetailSpeaks members about in May). Out of the cold and into the deep freeze…the temps will be well below zero when we land, before factoring windchill.
