Time to update (Round 2)

by Cinda Baxter on October 1, 2011

in The 3/50 Project

At last…we’re there. Time to wrap up loose ends. If your business appears in the left hand column on one of The 3/50 Project’s Supporter pages, one of two things is about to happen:

1. You will receive an email from us in the next few days if you did not update your information when requested in May and June

2. You won’t receive an email from us if:
– You updated your information when requested in May and June
– You signed on as a Supporter after April 1 (you’re already “good to go”)
– Your business is listed in the right hand column of the Supporter page on our website

Be sure to check your spam folders, folks. We can only afford to do this one more time, via email, so please don’t push it to the back burner.

Also, please don’t email us to ask if you should have received an email. We’ve vetted the list of incomplete listing very, very thoroughly, so if you are supposed to get an email, one will be sent (there simply isn’t manpower to manually check several hundred “Do I need to do this?” requests, then reply to each).

Thanks, everyone. Needless to say, once this database updating is wrapped up, Yours Truly is going to breathe one very long, very overdue sigh of relief.

Added 10.2.11:
If you have questions about your listing on our Supporter pages, please visit the Contact page of our website, then follow the directions there. Thanks!

Can we update our listing if we are lame enough to have a typo?!?

Thanks for all you do!

Editor’s Note: We ask that you please *not* re-register to correct a typo since two records that appear nearly identical in the database will almost assure the original stays put. Sorry….

I was one of the stupid people who registered twice when I didn’t find my business listed in the Supporters list. When/how should I go about signing up again to make sure I show up on the list? I see only two business listed in my town, but I am SURE there are others who have signed up at some point as they have decals displayed and have been vocal about the program.

How do I get my independent store name, Beverly Designs Boutique, in RED and linked to my website on the supporter page?

Thanks,
Beverly

Beverly, please visit the Resources page of our website, then scroll down to the section titled “Member Badge” for details (also found on the FAQ page of the Project’s website). Thanks for the support!

Wow Cinda- this has really grown. Congrats on your efforts to reach many with the message. Glad to see you are signing up more and more. – Best, Cindy

Editor’s note: Thank YOU, Cindy–Wellspring has always been wildly supportive of independent brick and mortars. Wish we could clone you out here in Retail Land!

I can’t find an e-mail. Did I update? I can’t tell. Let me know, please.
