New! The 3/50 Project Facebook Supporter Pic

by Cinda Baxter on December 1, 2009

in The 3/50 Project

On the heels of a carefully worded Facebook request that supporters of The 3/50 Project please respect our registered trademarks and copyrights, a handful of followers made a great suggestion: Why not create a Facebook image specifically for use on supporters’ profiles?

Why not, indeed? Ask and ye shall receive….

If you’re a Facebook fan who would like to promote the Project on your profile, click here, then follow the simple step-by-step directions. It’s my pleasure to make it easy to help spread the word.

As for the use of our name, brand, content, and artwork…. Folks, please, please respect our registered trademarks and copyrights. Don’t use material from The 3/50 Project (beyond what’s described on the Resources page of our site) without permission, assuming it will be okay or approved after the fact. As an ever-wise attorney drilled into taught me early on, “Once you allow one, you must allow all.” The only way to protect The 3/50 Project from being hijacked by an unethical cretin down the road is to apply these laws with consistency…

…even when they apply to someone who comes with good intentions.

Having a small Patchwork shop and living in a small village I enjoy keeping a brick and mortar shop and the constant contact with villagers.
Life is still happening a lot around the church (the villagecenter) in Belgium, although churches are empty.
I belong to the local business circle. We have an action this friday to promote local business. This fits the same idea.

Would love for this to be made into a badge. Love the organization, but really don’t want to promote it with my profile pic. If there was a badge it could be posted on the side of my profile. Just an idea.

Editor’s note: Please check out Pieces of Flair, where we’ve had a sidebar “lapel pin” available for several months. The profile image was created a month or so ago, in response to repeated requests for something that could be used in place of a profile photo. Just want to make as many folks happy as possible!
