in Media, The 3/50 Project

valentine_landing_imageWe have more than 14,600 Supporters listed on The 3/50 Project website. Over 35,000 fans on Facebook. Legions of bloggers and tweeters spreading the word.

So why haven’t we been on one of the national morning news programs yet?

Those of you who have heard me speak know that I’m hell bent on getting us some prime air time with the breakfast crowd. What better time to share this small business lovefest than on Valentine’s Day?

Enter: The 3/50 Project Valentine Campaign.

The idea? To deliver truckloads of Valentines to the Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show, and Fox & Friends. All you have to do is:

1. Click here to visit our Valentine Campaign page

2. Print out the Valentine linked there

3. Mail the Valentine to any of the addresses provided in the print out (or all four, if you’re so moved!)

Yup. That’s it. That’s all. Only cost is the stamp on the envelope.

The payoff, however, could be huge. There are a lot of consumer eyeballs watching these shows, you know…translates into a lot of your customers learning how important it is to “Pick 3, Spend 50.”

Please spread the word. The more Valentines, the better…and we’ve only got four weeks to pull this off….

Cinda, this is a wonderful & creative idea! Just what I should have expected coming from you. I plan to do this in the morning and hope that many other small business owners will follow suit.
Best of luck getting on air!

Cinda, I have printed and mailed! Keeping my fingers crossed you get on as the message is so important! I tried all last year to get my store noticed in the national spotlight as we were celebrating our bicentennial year in continuous business with not even a sideways glance from “The Big Guys”…..very frustrating. My glass is raised to you! Good luck and thank you for all you do for ALL independant retailers!

Editor’s Note: It’s my pleasure, and an absolute honor, to bring independent brick and mortars and the spotlight together in one place. Thanks for mailing the Valentines…my fingers are crossed too!
