Congratulations to LUG for ”bagging” one of the brightest minds in the gift industry. Translated, Kelly Portmann (Thymes, V.P. of Sales and Customer Service), is headed to Dallas early this spring to help grow the young company and guide them in day-to-day operations and sales.
As a Texas native, the move will bring her closer to family-—an added benefit. Still, part of her heart remains further north. “At Thymes we’re always saying that change keeps you young, but it’s bittersweet to be leaving the company I helped to grow and the family I’ve created both at Thymes and in Minnesota” writes Kelly in a note sent to their sales team around the country.
“As a part owner of Thymes, I am very invested in [the company’s] continued success and future growth, which I firmly believe in, “continues Portmann. “Knowing that Thymes is in the hands of the best-of-the-best representatives in the industry will help me sleep at night.”
