Thanks to my fellow Twitter-ites for helping carry the load during yesterday’s campaign to get facetime for The 3/50 Project with mass media. You guys really did us all proud, re-tweeting like pros as each subsequent wave rolled out.
The irony to all this is that I spent the day flat on my back, with either a horrid case of the flu or Memorial Day food poisoning (sadly, hamburgers and potato salad may be off my faves list for a while). Meant crawling to the laptop every so often to check in…tweet…crawl back to bed…crawl back to the laptop a few hours later…tweet…back to bed…. At one point, had the laptop IN bed with me, which is either an example of steely determination or complete insanity.
But then hey—I used to be a retailer. We’re half crazy by nature.
Now…let’s see how the media folks respond. Fingers crossed. Thanks to each and every one of you, including the non-Twitter users who posted about the campaign on their blogs, asking readers to jump in. Every one of you is a hero in my book.

Cinda,
Hope you are feeling better.
Here’s a little productivity tip. Do an online search for: schedule tweets free . You’ll find there are a number of tools in cyberspace that allow you to automate the type of re-messaging you were working with yesterday.
Editor’s note: Thanks for the tip, Richard. Better (and now, thanks to your comment, wiser) today.
Ok, I am twittered, what was that about only having 24 hours in a day? Shari
Cinda,
Sorry you were not feeling well. I twetted away as well as blogged about it. Sent letters to all of the major networks about it. Contacted my local newspaper and chambers.
Feel better.
Susan
