I need help asap! I own a boutique-Bags That Fit located in Lehi, UT and I'm going on the local news show tomorrow Tues July 7th to promote the 3/50 project. They had some questions that I couldn't answer and I need to be able to answer them on the air TOMORROW! 1-How did you fiqure out the break down of the $100? In what way does $68 go back to the community vs the $43 from a big box store? Don't they pay commercial property taxes and sales tax too? How did you get those fiqures? Why does nothing go back into the community if purchased online, if the person who is selling online is local? Wouldn't they pay local sales tax too? I appreciate all the help you can give me! Thanks much!

Editor’s note: Amber, have the station contact me for clarification; I’m happy to help (press_inquiries@the350project.net). Keep in mind I’m going to be on the air with Jim Blasingame from 7:00-7:30 a.m. central time, though.

To anyone else dealing with the media, I’m here to answer questions and fill in the gaps...just need to have the reporter or anchor contact me with as much lead time as possible, since I’m quite often on the road.

Please don’t try to wing it, folks...putting incorrect info out there will only hurt the Project.

This morning I was informed of the 3/50 project thru Facebook and immediately sent out your blog to all of my contacts. I own a paint and interior design retail store in Seattle, WA and am thrilled to be a supporter of this very important cause.
