Just to note:  the $68/43 dollar figure is an average across all types of independent retail, not just bookstores.  We&#039;re looking at new studies as soon as they come out to find the *best* way to say this, but for now this is the average we use.</description>

I joined to be able to have one on one conversations with others who are independent retailers about all aspects of the business. What I found was an extraordinary group of individuals who possess skills, knowledge, experience, and a sense of pride and passion about what they do.
